Position SummaryResponsible for the design process for all infrastructure elements and for the management of the design process from commencement to delivery. The Design Leader also manages design consultants, writes technical specifications and scope of works. Responsibilities• Management of the design process from commencement to delivery, management of design consultants, writing technical specifications, scope of works, RFP, ATP documents for ., Pre-cast and Steel elements (poles, structures, etc.)• Verification of all design packages ensuring compliance with International, and local standards as a minimum (electrical, structural, civil, etc.)• Provision of engineering design solutions for structural, civil and electrical design related problems, utilizing the design team of the civil engineering departments in all branches and via them the local design consultants, the implementation of new requirements and change requests from the projects and the transfer of revised designs• Maintain both internal and external client relationships• Proactive involvement in ongoing works and with any necessary design change in accordance with the project requirements • Maintain quality control• Assistance in the management of cost and time controlEducation / Certification Requirements:• . in Civil or Structural Engineering
المهارات
Skills and Experience• Must have minimum 7 years’ experience in engineering design• Must have good working knowledge and experience in civil engineering, electrical and mechanical elements• Must have experience in several engineering disciplines: Civil, Structural, Electrical, Communications (Design and Implementation); and site surveys day and night• Good knowledge and experience of British and Middle Eastern codes and norms• Experience working in Oil and Gas fields • Experience with AutoCAD • Experience with design review and design supervision • Experience with large-scale projects • Experience with working in and leading a multinational and multi-cultural team • Highly motivated with a strong managerial background • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; the ability to work under pressure, solve engineering problems and deal with a variety of issues in changeable situations• The ability to interpret and produce instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form• Writing of technical documentation• English - excellent verbal, reading and written capabilities • Experience working in the Middle East - preferred• Driving license
